Explorer chat integration

I'm not sure how valuable the chat feature would be currently. I don't get the idea that Delegators click through that far to inspect individual profiles, but I don't have any data to back that up. Personally I would love to have a dedicated channel for O<>D communications, but even when I had my contact details directly in the ENS description, no Delegators made use of that
Having some B focussed features on the Explorer sound like a more interesting topic to explore, although as a self-interested Orchestrator I'd much rather see the Explorer change to steer Delegators to be a bit more smart with Delegating rather than just going by ROI, which currently basically represents how low an O is willing to put their reward cut, not their performance/setup or contribution to the ecosystem. But this is no longer on topic

This is true, but right now it's a function of selection algorithm decisions more than anything else. I'd suggest that the proper approach is to create ways for Broadcasters to incorporate performance in selection.
Re: contributions to ecosystem, I'd personally argue that these should be rewarded through retroactive funding (Delta Tier 2 entities) rather than by delegation decisions

IMO the biggest network value here is in B<>O interactions. I'd nudge us to add some B-focused capabilities to the explorer before adding chat

Hunter Hillman: I think the o->d interactions are one of the initial motivators. There’s a lot that’s Os want to communicate to their D’s and have no way to do so right now other than hoping the Ds are reading forum posts.

Doug Petkanics: Yeah, I hear that refrain in the community a lot, but I still haven't heard a convincing argument that this would be valuable for the network at large (or that the lack of this feature is hurting the network). A rational delegator should be solely motivated by profit, and choose the O that will give them the best blended yield on their stake. If an O is (for example) making improvements to their setup that should result in better performance and more work, it will be reflected in better fee shares. I generally see delegated as roughly akin to a dividend-bearing asset.
Yes, there may be "activist delegators" in the future, but I'm not sure we need to optimize for them right now. Maybe there's a case to be made that Os might be able to make sweetheart deals with high-value delegators to give them better fee rewards?
